The NH Research 9430-4 is a 4kW 4-Quadrant Regenerative AC Load with programmable single-phase input, supporting 10–350VAC and 30–880Hz, as well as 10–400VDC DC operation. It offers advanced HIVAR® design for testing reactive loads up to 2.6 times real power and includes emulation modes like CC, CR, CP, CS, and CRL. It features a power factor range of -1 to +1, crest factor up to 4.0, and a high-resolution waveform digitizer.
Ideal for UPS, inverter, switch, and circuit breaker testing, the 9430-4 allows bi-directional current flow, realistic load simulation, and over 90% efficient regenerative power return to facility mains.
