The NH Research 9430-48 is a 48kW 4-Quadrant Regenerative AC Load with selectable single, split, or three-phase inputs, operating at 10–350VAC and 30–880Hz. It supports DC operation from 10–400VDC and features advanced HiVAR® design for reactive power testing up to 2.6x true power. Its crest factor ranges from 1.414 to 4.000 with a full power factor range of -1 to +1, ensuring precise emulation under constant current, resistance, power, apparent power, and RL modes.
Applications include UPSs, AC sources, inverters, rectifiers, switches, circuit breakers, and fuses. With regenerative technology, it returns more than 90% of sink power to the mains, reducing heat dissipation and cutting facility costs significantly.
