The M8054A is a 1-slot AXIe interference source for testing high-speed digital receivers at symbol rates up to 64 GBaud. It generates repeatable random and sinusoidal level interference in common and differential mode, with bandwidth adjustable up to 32 GHz and four differential output channels.
Used with the M8040A (and M8050A) BERT under M8070B system software for receiver stress testing to PCIe 4/5, OIF CEI-56G, IEEE 802.3bs/bj/cd/by and SAS.
