The Viavi (JDSU) CellAdvisor JD724B is a lightweight cable and antenna analyser for cell-site deployment and maintenance covering 25 MHz to 4 GHz. It measures VSWR/return loss, distance-to-fault and RF or optical transmission power, and supports fibre inspection with the P5000i microscope. It is the predecessor of the JD724C.
Optical power measurement uses JDSU MP-60/MP-80 sensors; data are managed with JD Viewer software. It features a split-screen dual display and a field-replaceable Li-ion battery with no warm-up time.
