The Tektronix PacketBERT PB200 is a packet generator and error detector optimized for packet-based communication protocols like TDMA, ATM, and Satellite modems. It supports DC to 200 Mbit/s NRZ-1 data rates with programmable word memories (up to 256 Kbits) for creating custom packets with user-defined preamble, overhead, and data.
The PB200 provides precise BER testing, clock/data deskew up to 32 ns, and automatic eye-width measurement. Its mixed-mode capability, gapped clock generation, and built-in pattern editor offer unmatched flexibility for subsystem development testing.
