The Tektronix TSG601 is a portable SDI signal generator designed for professional digital video and broadcast applications. It delivers 270 Mb/s CCIR 601-compliant video with programmable test patterns, embedded data, and both 8-/10-bit NRZI-scrambled formats. Features include variable launch amplitude, built-in 50m cable simulator, and embedded audio support for comprehensive performance testing.
Use the TSG601 to evaluate receiver sensitivity, PLL recovery, and cable equalization. It supports 16 test signals, ID overlays, and preset configurations for fast field deployment.
