The Viavi (JDSU) CellAdvisor JD7105B is a base station analyser for 2G to 4G cell-site installation and maintenance, combining a 100 kHz to 7.2 GHz spectrum analyser, 25 MHz to 4 GHz cable and antenna analyser and 10 MHz to 7.2 GHz power meter. It also offers interference analysis, channel scanning, E1/T1 analysis, GPS, a built-in bias tee and CW source. It has an 8 in daylight-readable colour display and backlit keypad.
Signal analysis options cover cdma2000, EV-DO, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WCDMA/HSDPA, TD-SCDMA, Mobile WiMAX and LTE, with OTA variants requiring the GPS option. Legacy predecessor of the JD745A/JD785A family.
