The Wandel & Goltermann SPM‑30 is a highly specialized selective level meter designed for analyzing frequency-specific signal levels in FDM communication systems. It features coaxial frequency tuning from 200 Hz to 1.62 MHz and balanced input from 200 Hz to 620 kHz, with a digital frequency readout accurate to 1 Hz and level resolution as fine as 0.01 dB.
This unit offers selectable bandwidths of ~24 Hz, 1.74 kHz, and 3.1 kHz, and supports voltage measurements from microvolts to volts, as well as optional tracking generators for advanced attenuation/gain testing.
