The Amplifier Research 2500A250A delivers up to 2.5 kW CW in the 100 kHz–250 MHz range, with slight derating above 100 MHz. It uses push-pull MOSFET stages to minimize distortion and ensure consistent performance. The Digital Control Panel (DCP) features a 3¾" graphic display, softkeys, rotary knob, and intuitive switches. Functions include gain control, internal/external ALC, pulse input, RF protection, and power factor–corrected supplies.
This amplifier supports full remote operation via GPIB, RS-232, and fiber, making it versatile for EMC testing, antenna feeding, component evaluation, and demanding laboratory applications.
