The Amplifier Research 250L is a rugged, broadband RF amplifier delivering 250 W CW and 750 W pulsed power across 10 kHz to 220 MHz. It combines solid-state MOSFET pre-stages with a vacuum-tube final stage, ensuring high gain and power. Cooling is managed via forced air, with overload protection and a crowbar circuit safeguarding performance.
Ideal for ultrasonic, plasma, RF susceptibility, and heating applications, it offers convenient power control via a front-panel attenuator and provides monitoring through rear test points and LED indicators. Remote operation is supported with TTL (CP2001) or IEEE-488 (CP3000) interfaces.
