The Amplifier Research 250W1000B is a fully solid-state, air-cooled, broadband RF amplifier delivering a minimum of 250 watts output power across 80–1000 MHz. Featuring push-pull circuitry for reduced distortion and enhanced stability, it offers 54 dB gain, 18 dB adjustment range, and faithfully reproduces AM, FM, and Pulse modulation. It integrates advanced protection with DC current sensing, stage fusing, mismatch tolerance, and harmonic suppression at –20 dBc for reliable high-performance testing.
Equipped with a Digital Control Panel (DCP), the 250W1000B provides local and remote operation via IEEE-488, RS-232, USB, Ethernet, and fiber-optic interfaces. It supports applications including RF susceptibility testing, antenna evaluation, wattmeter calibration, and driving frequency multipliers or higher-power amplifiers.
