The Amplifier Research KAW4040 delivers 500 Watts rated power output with a frequency response from 200 MHz to 500 MHz, offering a minimum gain of 57 dB and a gain adjustment range of 30 dB. It provides input/output impedance of 50 Ohm, ensures reliable VSWR, over-temperature, and overdrive protection, and supports AM, FM, and pulse modulation with low harmonic distortion of –20 dBc maximum.
Equipped with remote control interfaces IEEE488.2 and RS-232, the KAW4040 features Type N connectors, advanced indicators, and front-panel meters for precise forward/reflected power monitoring. Forced-air cooling ensures stable performance.
