The Anritsu MP1570A is a versatile analyzer for SONET, SDH, PDH, and ATM systems, featuring a plug-in modular architecture with flexible configuration. It supports concatenated payloads from OC-3c/STM-1c to OC-192c/STM-64c and offers advanced options like POS and IPOA for real-time traffic analysis. Equipped with optical TX modules at 1310 nm and high-output 1550 nm, it covers 1.5 Mb/s to 10 Gb/s, jitter/wander measurements, APS switch timing, and supports DWDM testing.
Its compact, portable design eliminates the need for multiple instruments, enabling seamless global testing across SONET, SDH, and Japanese mappings. Features such as CID pattern, mixed payload, through-mode, and tandem connection monitoring streamline R&D and manufacturing workflows.
