The Anritsu MP1776A Error Detector is a 4-channel error detector supporting bit error rate (BER) testing from 100 Mbps to 12.5 Gbps per channel, and up to 50 Gbps in combined mode. It offers independent, dual, and quad-channel configurations with full programmability for PRBS, Zero Substitution, and Consecutive Zero patterns. Its Windows-based GUI, touchscreen, rotary encoder, and SCPI remote control ensure efficient operation.
Designed for advanced telecom and optical testing, it supports SONET/SDH analysis up to OC-768c/STM-256c with optional MX177601A software, and integrates with Anritsu’s ME7760B and ME7780A systems for high-speed BER testing up to 48 Gbps.
