The Anritsu MT8860C is an integrated one‑box test set for 802.11 WLAN devices, delivering high‑speed measurements for production test and design proving. It supports two operation modes: Network and Direct. In Network mode, it uses standard WLAN signaling to exercise and measure DUT transmitters and receivers. In Direct mode, the MT8860C generates and transmits WLAN packets for receiver testing and evaluates DUT transmitters with its built‑in transmitter analyzer.
In Direct mode the DUT is controlled by the silicon supplier’s test‑mode utility. Control and visualization use the LANLook PC software, providing a familiar Windows‑based interface for instrument configuration and clear numerical and graphical result displays via a GPIB connection.
