The MU196040B is a single-channel PAM4/NRZ error detector plug-in for the MP1900A, designed for error-free measurement of 116 Gbit/s PAM4 signals. It offers optional built-in clock recovery, equalisation and PAM4 MSB/LSB/symbol error counting, and supports CEI-112G-VSR stressed receiver input testing.
Fits the MP1900A mainframe (up to 4 channels per mainframe) and pairs with the MU196020A PAM4 PPG. Operating rate (32.1 Gbaud or 58.2/64.2 Gbaud), clock recovery, equaliser and PAM4 counter are option-selected.
