The M8045A is the 3-slot AXIe pattern generator and clock module of the M8040A 64 GBaud high-performance BERT. It provides one or two channels of NRZ output up to 32 or 64 GBaud, with licence options for PAM4 encoding, de-emphasis, advanced jitter sources, reference clock multiplication and FEC encoding. Each generator channel requires an M8057A/M8057B remote head.
Used with the M8046A error analyser in an M9505A AXIe chassis for 200/400 GbE, OIF-CEI-56G/112G and PCIe receiver test. Speed, PAM4 and channel count are licence-upgradeable.
