The MU181020B is a single-channel 14 Gbit/s pulse pattern generator plug-in for the MP1800A, covering 0.1 to 14 Gbit/s (14.1 Gbit/s with option 005) from an external clock up to 14 GHz. It generates PRBS, programmable, alternate, mixed and sequence patterns with a choice of variable or high-performance data output options.
Fits the MP1800A and is clocked from an MU181000A/B synthesiser or MU181800B distributor; output level and data delay are option-selected. Typical uses are 10G-class optical and electrical interface BER and receiver testing.
