The M8046A is a 1-slot AXIe error analyser module for the M8040A 64 GBaud high-performance BERT, providing error analysis up to 32 or 64 GBaud with NRZ as standard. Licence options add PAM4 decoding up to 58 GBaud, equalisation and clock recovery up to 64 GBaud. It is not a standalone instrument and works with the M8045A pattern generator or M8195A/M8196A AWGs.
Further licences provide interactive link training and SKP/ALIGN filtering for PCI Express, USB 3.x, SATA and SAS. Installed in an AXIe chassis as part of an M8040A configuration.
