The Magna-Power  MTD300-833 Programmable DC Power Supply  is a high-power programmable power supply known for its reliability and advanced technology. This unit, offering individual power output of 250 kW, utilizing current-fed power processing technology and high-frequency IGBT-based components. The MTD300-833 is among the largest standard switch-mode power supply available, which reduces the number of switching components compared to smaller modules. Multi-megawatt scaling is achieved using the UID47 device for master-slave control.

The Magna-Power MTD300-833  unit includes an input AC breaker rated for full power to enhance safety. The 250 kW modules come with an embedded 12-pulse harmonic neutralizer for low total harmonic distortion, and additional 24-pulse and 48-pulse neutralizers are available. The MTD300-833 offers various features, including remote programming, high accuracy measurements, master-slave functionality, and remote sensing. The MTD300-833's front panel provides a digital display and various control options, including modulation for non-linear power profiles. Magna-Power's Harmonic Neutralizers help reduce harmonic components, ensuring power quality. They offer 12-pulse, 18-pulse, 24-pulse, or 48-pulse waveforms to suit diffe applications, with the aim of minimizing harmonic-related issues and meeting IEEE 519 standards.
