SONOMA 310 / KEYSIGHT 11909A

The Sonoma 310 Low Noise Amplifier (AKA Agilent / Keysight 11909A) improves receiver and spectrum analyzer sensitivity. It is ideally suited for use with the  11940A and  11941A close-field probes to detect low-level emissions from a device under test. Radiated emissions from measurements using a spectrum analyzer and antenna are improved by the increased sensitivity that this unit offers.

Features and Key Speficaitions of the Sonoma 310 Amplifier include:

  • Ideally suited for use with the  11940A and 11941A close-field probes
  • Excellent noise figure (1.8 dB typ. at 5-500 MHz, 2.5 dB typ. at 1 GHz) and gain (32 dB typ.) thereby improving test system sensitivity
  • Enables detection of low-level emissions from a device under test
  • Improves radiated emission measurements using a spectrum analyzer and antenna
  • Frequency range 9 kHz to 1 GHz (-3 dB)
  • Ampliier gain 32 dB ± 1.5 dB @ 100 MHz
  • Gain flatness ± 0.5 dB (25 kHz to 800 MHz)
  • Noise figure 2.5 dB max and 1.8 dB typ. (5~500 MHz) 2.5 dB typ. (1 GHz)
  • Output power @ +10 dBm 1 dB compression
  • Impedance 50 ohms
  • Input return loss 8 dB Output return loss 10 dB
  • Reverse isolation 35 dB
  • Maximum input ±24 mV (approximate) for linear operation
  • Input damage level ±2 V DC
