The Keysight (Agilent) 3764A, Digital Transmission Tester is a precision instrument designed for in-depth error analysis across a range of digital transmission formats. Operating as both transmitter and receiver, it supports data rates up to 170 Mb/s with formats including NRZ, RZ, HDB3, and CMI. Key testing capabilities include real-time error count, error ratio, errored seconds, degraded minutes, and G.821-compliant performance metrics. ECL outputs are provided on 75-ohm unbalanced interfaces, and an integrated printer enables on-site documentation.
Supporting error analysis at 2, 8, 34, and 139 Mb/s, and optional jitter generation and measurement, it is ideal for transmission testing in telecom and digital data systems.
