The Keysight (Agilent) 8168A Tunable Laser Source operates in the 1500–1565 nm range, offering single-mode output at each wavelength with a built-in side mode filter to ensure a pure laser line. With a fine resolution of 0.001 nm, it is ideal for heterodyne and coherent applications, providing accurate and fast tuning with independent control of output power and wavelength.
It supports reliable, stable wavelength scans, and offers automated measurement routines for loss, return loss, and coupling ratios without requiring a computer.
