The Keysight (Agilent) 8168F Tunable Laser Source is a benchtop laser device ideal for characterizing and testing optical amplifiers and components. It operates in the 1450–1590 nm wavelength range with output power from 199.5 µW to 6.3 mW. The integrated side mode filter guarantees single-mode laser line generation at every point, eliminating multimode interference.
This unit features a proprietary user interface, is compatible with singlemode fiber, and offers universal input power with auto sensing. Note that it is out of production and support.
