The Keysight (Agilent) 83496A Clock Recovery module enables multi-rate electrical clock extraction with continuous, unbanded tuning from 50 Mb/s to 13.5 Gb/s. It features ultra-low residual jitter (<300 fs rms at 10 Gb/s), Golden PLL operation with tunable loop bandwidth from 15 KHz to 10 MHz, and supports electrical and optical signal inputs including single-mode and multimode fiber over 1250–1650 nm and 750–1330 nm respectively.
Suitable for waveform analysis and compatible with 86100A/B/C/D Infiniium DCA mainframes, this unit provides a true hardware-based Golden PLL triggering system ensuring precise and reliable clock recovery performance.
