The Keysight (Agilent) 8501A Storage-Normalizer enhances the HP 8505A RF Network Analyzer by extending its measurement range from 500 kHz to 1.3 GHz. It features flicker-free digital storage, CRT annotation for control settings, and precise display resolutions: 500 points/channel horizontally and vertically, plus polar display capabilities with visual tracking offsets.
It digitally averages signals, reduces frequency response errors via normalization, and provides advanced computer graphics for corrected data and operator messages through a desktop controller.
