The Keysight (Agilent) 8684A is a cavity-tuned, microprocessor-enhanced, solid-state signal generator offering microwave output from 5.4 to 12.5 GHz. It features a leveled output range from 0 dBm to -120 dBm, with Option 001 extending this range from +10 dBm to -130 dBm. Modulation options include internal AM/FM, external pulse, and combinations controlled by interlocks for seamless functionality.
Users can easily adjust FM deviation from the front panel and monitor active settings via LED indicators. Output frequency, modulation level, and power are clearly displayed on digital LED panels for precise operation.
