The Keysight (Agilent) E1406A Command Module is a C-size, 1-slot VXI message-based commander with Slot 0 and Resource Manager functionality. It functions as a VMEbus system controller and GPIB-to-VXIbus interface for communication with message-based VXI modules. It includes FLASH memory for downloadable drivers and SCPI command translation for ease of programming.
Featuring MXIbus Resource Manager and flexible triggering with clock interfacing, it supports synchronization of the VXI backplane 10 MHz clock with external TTL signals for high-throughput performance in multi-mainframe setups.
