It offers six user-selectable measurement bandwidths (from 100 kHz to 4 MHz), improving precision and flexibility. With NF measurement ranges from 0 to 35 dB and gain measurements from -20 to +40 dB, the N8973A ensures highly accurate results with NF uncertainty as low as ±0.05 dB. It also enables amplifier and frequency-translating device characterization with LO control via a second GPIB interface.
