The Schaffner CDN110 is a single-phase surge coupling/decoupling network designed for use with the NSG651 High Energy Pulse Generator. It enables coupling of pulses up to 6.6 kV (1.2/50 µs waveform) or surges up to 3 kA (8/20 µs waveform) into single-phase mains supply lines at 230 Vac. The unit supports EUT voltages up to 420 Vac (rms) and currents up to 16 A, conforming to IEC 801-5 and ANSI-IEEE C62.41 standards.
Engineered for system and instrument testing, the Schaffner CDN110 provides safe and reliable operation with integrated interlocks. It normally operates beneath the NSG651 and comes supplied with the necessary connections, ensuring secure test configurations.
