The Schaffner NSG 650 High Energy Pulse Generator produces hybrid pulses with 1.2/50 µs (open circuit), 8/20 µs (short circuit), and 0.5 µs/100 kHz ring wave at levels above 6kV/500A. Compliant with IEC 801-5, ANSI-IEEE C62.41, IEEE 587, and VDE 0109 standards, this unit offers floating output, full computer control, operating software, and automatic sequence programming.
Ideal for surge and ring wave testing, the NSG 650 integrates easily into existing computer environments or can be operated via IBM XT/AT compatible PCs, providing flexibility and accuracy in EMC testing.
