The Schaffner NSG432 is a compact ESD simulator system designed for generating electrostatic discharges up to 25kV, ideal for military specifications and advanced testing. It features polarity selection, discharge capacitors of 150 pF ±10%, and resistors of 330 ohms ±10%, meeting IEC 61000-4-2 standards.
Its operating modes include single and repetitive discharges at 20Hz, with rise times under 1 ns for air discharge and 0.7–1 ns using contact discharge adapters. An LCD shows precise settings, controlled by a multi-turn potentiometer.
