The Tektronix GB1400 Bit Error Rate Tester operates up to 1400 Mb/s, generating low‑jitter, symmetrical waveforms via true/inverted single‑ended or differential ECL outputs. It supports PRBS up to 2²³‑1 or custom patterns stored in up to 1 Mbit battery‑backed RAM, with PC download via GPIB/RS‑232. Featuring an internal PLL clock, 4 ns clock/data adjustable delay with 5 ps resolution, automatic eye‑width measurement, optional burst mode, and phase‑synchronous edge tracking, it covers a broad range of high‑precision timing and signal‑integrity needs.
Specifically designed for Gigabit LAN, satellite communications, high‑speed circuit/system design, full‑rate HD video simulation, manufacturing test (TE), and GaAs/ECL/optical component analysis, the GB1400 ensures flexible inputs and robust timing control for demanding test environments.
