The Amplifier Research 200S1G4 is a solid-state, air-cooled, broadband microwave amplifier delivering a minimum of 200W output power across 0.8–4.2GHz. It incorporates push-pull circuitry for reduced distortion and enhanced stability, with gain of at least 53 dB and adjustment range of 15 dB. Equipped with a Digital Control Panel (DCP), it provides forward and reflected power displays, gain control, automatic level control, pulse input capability, RF output level protection, and full local/remote control via GPIB and RS-232 interfaces.
Designed for demanding RF and EMC test environments, the 200S1G4 faithfully reproduces AM, FM, and pulse modulation. Its wide frequency coverage and low harmonic distortion make it suitable for communication testing including CDMA, W-CDMA, TDMA, and GSM applications.
