The Anritsu MD8480B is a powerful base station simulator designed for W-CDMA mobile station testing, fully compliant with 3GPP specifications. It supports advanced modulation and demodulation, protocol sequence tests such as registration, origination, termination, handover (optional), and disconnection. The instrument enables voice and packet communication tests and can even evaluate communication between two mobile stations when paired with a second MD8480B.
