The NIC GigE enables service providers to perform packet-level testing, as well as BER testing on 1000Mbps traffic. It allows them to test through the network to the drop point at the enterprise, thus validating quality and delivery to the customer premises. The NIC GigE offers comprehensive RFC 2544 and APS testing capabilities. The Ethernet analysis also includes traffic stream generation with VLAN support to fully test the integrity of Ethernet network performance.
