The Rohde & Schwarz MXO54C is the 4-channel model of the MXO 5C Series, a compact 2U version of the MXO 5 without a built-in display, designed for racks and automated test systems. It keeps the MXO 5 performance: more than 4.5 million waveforms per second, a 12-bit ADC at all sample rates (up to 18-bit in HD mode), up to 5 GS/s and 500 Mpoints of memory per channel. It is operated over LAN or with an external monitor via HDMI or DisplayPort, and has a small e-ink display showing IP address, firmware and installed options.
Bandwidth on the MXO 5C is set by software licence, so the MXO54C can be supplied at 350 MHz, 500 MHz, 1 GHz or 2 GHz (upgrade options MXO5C-B245 to MXO5C-B2420). It can also be fitted with 16 digital channels (MXO5C-B1), a 2-channel 100 MHz arbitrary waveform generator (MXO5C-B6) and a 1 Gpoint memory upgrade (MXO5C-B110).
