The Keysight (Agilent) 437B is a single-channel, programmable average power meter designed for fast, accurate, and cost-efficient RF and microwave power measurements. Compatible with the 8480 series power sensors, it covers a wide dynamic range from -70 dBm (100 pW) to +44 dBm (25 W) over frequencies ranging from 100 kHz to 110 GHz. Its compact 3-inch height and half-rack width make it ideal for space-sensitive ATE systems and demanding bench-top applications.
The 437B integrates a power reference for automatic calibration and zeroing, features ten preloaded sensor correction factors versus frequency, and is the only meter in its class compliant with MIL-STD-461C EMI specifications. It combines the lightweight form of plastic with the EMI shielding of metal for robust system integration.
