The Keysight (Agilent) 83486A is a plug-in module featuring a 3 GHz optical channel and a 20 GHz electrical channel, designed for use with the 83480A and 86100A/B/C mainframes. It supports 62.5/125 µm fibers and operates within a 750–860 nm wavelength range. The optical receiver includes reference capability for multiple data rates, and the electrical input uses a 3.5 mm male connector.
This module is ideal for analyzing high-speed digital signals and is compatible with Keysight’s 83480A Digital Communications Analyzer and the 86100 series Infiniium DCA mainframes.
