The Keysight (Agilent) 8546A EMI Receiver, composed of the 85462A RF Section and 85460A RF Filter Section, is a CISPR 16-1 compliant system for precise EMI testing from 9 kHz to 6.5 GHz. It enables conformance checking for civilian EMI standards like CISPR, EN, FCC, VCCI, and VDE. The receiver offers manual, stepped, and scanning tuning in log or linear modes, with built-in overload detection, auto-ranging, and simultaneous peak, quasi-peak, and average amplitude measurements. Onscreen limit lines and automatic antenna/cable correction streamline data comparison to compliance thresholds.
Integrated test routines, PC connectivity (with Agilent 85875A/85876B software), and hardcopy output capability make the 8546A ideal for automated radiated and conducted EMI testing on high-speed ITE equipment.
