The Keysight (Agilent) 86103B is an amplified optical and electrical module offering a 10 GHz optical bandwidth, high sensitivity, and compatibility with 86100A/B/C Infiniium DCA/DCA-J Mainframes. It operates across 1000–1600 nm wavelengths with support for 9/125 to 62.5/125 µm fibers and includes a 20 GHz electrical channel with 3.5 mm male input. Characteristic rms noise is 2.2 µW (10 GHz BW) for optical and 0.25 mV to 0.5 mV (12.4 to 20 GHz BW) for electrical channels.
Ideal for SONET/SDH, Fibre Channel, and Gigabit Ethernet compliance, the 86103B features reference receiver capabilities at 0.622 to 2.500 Gb/s rates, tailored for transceivers and proprietary interconnect testing.
